Committees

From time to time the West Nipissing Chamber requires a group of members appointed for a specific function. Each committee needs to be overseen by a Director of the Chamber Board.  Therefore the Board of Directors will have specific responsibilities to oversee such Committees.

Each Committee:

  • Consists of Chairperson, Vice-chair, and members-at-large, who do not necessarily have to be on the Board of Directors, but must be Chamber of Commerce Members
  • Will meet on an as needed basis, for the time being.
  • When staff has an issue, or requires some direction, a Chairperson or Vice-chair will be available to assist.  This means that not every minor detail or expense will have to go to the Board. This helps in time-sensitive matters.

Chamber members in good standing are welcome to submit their interest in being part of a specific committee outlined below by emailing info@westnipissingchamber.ca or calling the Chamber office at 705-753-5672.
